Buying Team Leader

This is a first-level supervisor at a large site (800 employees) supervising 25‑50 employees or a non‑supervisory team lead. The role reports to a second‑level manager and provides direct supervision of semi‑skilled employees within a single function or work group. Responsibilities include establishing annual plans, interpreting policies, contributing to policy development, executing budgets, developing schedules, enforcing policies and procedures, directing subordinates, participating in interviewing and hiring, reviewing performance, recommending compensation and disciplinary action, approving overtime schedules, and engaging in routine information exchanges.
