Bylaw Enforcement Officer – Municipal Enforcement

As part of our Municipal Enforcement team, you “Take Care of Banff” through the enforcement of Town Bylaws and Parking Regulations. You will contribute to a sustainable transportation and vehicle management system in Town through your enforcement of Parking Regulations, and you will respond to and investigate Bylaw complaints as they arise.

This role is accountable for making regular enforcement patrols of all parking areas, focussing on the paid parking and controlled residential parking zones. You will utilize the electronic ticketing system to conduct enforcement and support your charges with photo evidence. You will be expected to show impeccable accuracy in your data entry and keep detailed records of your enforcement efforts. You have the interpersonal skills and diplomacy to engage visitors and residents in the course of your duties, often dealing with emotional and agitated clients.
