Job Description

Job Purpose:


The Refiner Operator is responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards while refining paste batches into liquid chocolate or compound.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input required documentation of product specifications and quality into the system

  • Adjust machines as needed to minimize inaccuracies, defects, or waste

  • Deliver regular sample tests to laboratory to confirm accurate recipe specifications, measuring items such as fineness, color and consistency

  • Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor

  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

  • Ensure critical control point compliance documenting - Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; report any non-conformitie...
