Cable Technician Assistant – Network Cabling

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cable Technician Assistant to support network cabling installations and maintenance projects across the Cape Town area.

The successful candidate will assist senior technicians with structured cabling installations, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring work is completed to industry standards and client specifications.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in structured network cabling
Proven experience working with:
Cat3, Cat5e, and Cat6 cabling
Basic understanding of network cabling standards and best practices.
Ability to use hand tools and basic cabling equipment
Physically fit and comfortable working in ceilings, confined spaces, and on ladders.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Advantageous (Not Essential)
Experience with fibre optic cabling (installation, termination, or testing)
Knowledge of fibre types (single-mode / multi-mode)
