Interpret CAD drawings and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), material and profile selections

Prepares CAD file for further programing with efficient use of AutoCAD software, including line type and layer management, offsets and reference points

Prepares geometric layout of countertops on available slabs and remnants using slab layout software for efficiency material use and pleasing design

Develops programs and instructions for CNC equipment, utilizing appropriate CAD/CAM software

Determines correct cutting tools and speeds, and applies appropriate toolpath sequences for required design

Prepares and organizes shop paperwork files, including electronic files and printed paperwork and labels

Checks programming for accuracy and efficiency, using simulations or testing where necessary
