CAD Manager – Substations

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for CAD Manager on a 6 month rolling contract, based in Stafford – Hybrid.

Role Summary

To lead and manage the CAD production team for substation (National Grid) projects, ensuring all drawings are delivered accurately, on time, and in full compliance with company, client, and industry standards, including National Grid (NG) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, supervise, and support the CAD team, allocating work and monitoring performance.

* Develop, implement, and enforce CAD standards, procedures, and best practices.

* Coordinate drawing production and interfaces between engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.

* Ensure all deliverables meet National Grid compliance requirements and project specifications.

* Review and approve drawings for accuracy, consistency, and quality prior to issue.
