JOB DESCRIPTION

The CAD Operator (2D & 3D) for Metal Fabrication is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models used in the design and fabrication of metal products and structures. The role requires a high level of precision in translating design concepts and engineering specifications into comprehensive CAD files for manufacturing use.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare 2D shop drawings and 3D models for metal fabrication projects including cable trays, cable ladders, data cabinet, brackets, enclosures, and other custom metal works.

· Interpret and convert sketches, plans, and design specifications into technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.

· Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and manufacturability.

· Revise and update CAD files based on feedback from engineering or production teams.
