Job Description

Roles
 & Responsibilities:
Develop production-ready designs by creating 2D AutoCAD layouts, Fusion360 flat patterns, and DXF files from templates.

Optimize nesting and programming to maximize material utilization, set optimal cut sequences, and configure plasma table amperages.

Manage quality control by verifying material allocations, reviewing drawings for accuracy, and tracking Mill Test Reports (MTR).

Coordinate shop floor schedules by grouping jobs by material thickness and grade to ensure peak processing efficiency.

Troubleshoot shop floor errors by providing real-time technical programming support directly to the plasma cutting operators.
Qualifications: 
Technical education or certification in Drafting, Design, or Mechanical Engineering Technology, with an Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) credential preferred.
