Job Description

Role Overview

The Civil Design Team are responsible for providing design, drafting and technical expertise to Capital Delivery and Assets Branch. Reporting directly to Coordinator Civil Design this position provides assistance for effective and efficient delivery of Council’s capital works programs.


This role supports Council’s vision of planned infrastructure that seeks to meet foreseeable future needs to support economic development, community enhancement and residents’ wellbeing.


Essential Knowledge & Skills:

  • Eligible qualifications to undertake an approved course leading to an Associate Degree in Surveying.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical skills (computations, survey and drafting) and oral communication skills (telephone and public relations).

  • Develop knowledge of Australian Surveying standards, survey requirements and procedures.
