Cadet Manager

Job Objective:

To be responsible for the selection, planning, management, career development and welfare of cadets and junior officers within the company's cadet programme.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage the generation of the cadet and junior officer pool to satisfy the fleet officer talent development.
• Manage the quality assurance of cadet recruitment process ensuring high quality future crew development
• Manage the planning and placement process for cadets and junior officers.
• Ensure career progression, mentoring and guidance is provided to cadets and junior officers.
• Collaborate with maritime academies and institutions such as IMEC to ensure quality and standards of cadet recruitment are in line with the requirements
• Ensure an on board training programme is in place utilizing the latest technology for eTRB and other digital systems for cadet task book and performance management
