CAD/Mechanical Engineer

We’re looking for a CAD Engineer to join a 6‑month fixed‑term project supporting a major engineering data‑migration initiative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on CAD work, problem‑solving, and getting complex technical data into excellent shape.

Based on‑site in Cambourne , you’ll play a key part in preparing and transferring engineering data from an existing PDM system into a new PLM environment. If you have a strong eye for detail and experience working with SolidWorks, PDM/PLM tools, and structured engineering data, this project will give you the chance to make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the cleansing, validation, and migration of CAD and engineering data into a new PLM system.
• Working with SolidWorks and a SWIM interface to ensure smooth, accurate data transfer.
