CAE Engineer

Akkodis is looking for a Senior CAE Engineer with strong hands-on experience in finite element analysis of locomotive and rail structures . The role involves performing detailed FEA for strength, stiffness, fatigue, and dynamic load cases , as well as bolt force extraction at critical interfaces to support safe and compliant product designs.

• 6–10 years of hands-on CAE experience in locomotive.
• Strong expertise in:
• Altair HyperMesh, ANSA (meshing, connections, model quality)
• ANSYS , ABAQUS for structural and modal analysis
• Proven experience in bolt force extraction and joint load assessment
• Strong understanding of:
• FEM theory
• Structural mechanics and vibration
• Fatigue concepts and material behavior (steel, cast/welded structures)
