Cafe Barista

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and beverages to company standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene.
• Follow food safety, health, and safety regulations at all times.
• Promote menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Help achieve daily sales and service targets.
• Assist in implementing promotions and new product launches.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a barista in a café or coffee chain.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and work well in a team.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Barista certification or professional coffee training.
• Experience in staff training or shift leadership.
