Job Description
Be a pivotal member of Cenovus's Conventional Heavy Oil team as a Senior Geologist. This Calgary-based role emphasizes geological evaluations and innovative strategic insights for successful asset development.
Reporting to the Alberta Geoscience Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing reservoir development through data-driven evaluations and collaborative projects. You'll integrate new technologies, conduct technical reviews, and contribute to Long Range Planning, enhancing operational effectiveness across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate geological data to identify drilling opportunities
• Prepare technical recommendations for leadership approval
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project execution
• Monitor industry advancements for integration into programs
• Champion workflow improvements for project optimization
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Geology with a minimum of 8 years of experience
