Calibration Tuning Engineer

DESCRIPTION

The Calibration Tuning Engineer is responsible for calibrating, optimizing, and validating diesel engine control strategies to meet performance, fuel economy, emissions, and drivability targets. The role demands strong understanding of the diesel engine features and simulation techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

·Lead calibration and tuning of diesel engine parameters including fuel injection timing and quantity, rail pressure, combustion phasing, air-path, EGR, boost control, and thermal management.

·Plan and execute engine-centric test cell activities for calibration, tuning, and validation.

·Create and Update Engine Feature Calibration Guide.

·Collaborate with feature owners to optimize Engine Feature Calibration.
