Call for Board Members

The Vancouver Improv Centre Society (The Improv Centre) on Granville Island is seeking community minded individuals in Metro Vancouver Area to grow and diversify its Board of Directors. As a non‑profit organization and registered charity that supports community engagement through comedic improvisational theatre, we wish to expand the knowledge, diversity, experience, and perspectives that contribute to the development of an inclusive and thriving theatre community on Granville Island.

Prospective Board Directors may especially contribute their leadership and experience in the following domains:

• Law & Governance - legal oversight, risk management, contracts, and compliance
• Marketing & Brand Strategy - audience development, storytelling, communications, and brand growth
• Fundraising & Development - donor relations, sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue diversification
