Call for two Bioinformatics Research Technicians Universitat Pompeu Fabra 
Barcelona, Spain 
The Department of Medicine and Life Sciences (MELIS) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) aims to fill two Bioinformatics Research Technician positions (reference MELIS-PSR-INDF- ). 
Position requirements Bachelor’s degree in Health and Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field. 
Technical Skills: Proven experience in statistical analysis, scientific visualization, and proficiency in programming languages (R, Python). 
Specialized Software: Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and pipelines (e.g., STAR, DESeq2, samtools, MACS2). 
Advanced level of English. 
Desirable qualifications Experience in software development. 
Skills in project coordination and data management.
