(CAN) Dairy / Frozen Department Manager

Position Summary A Dairy/Frozen Department Manager co-ordinates the merchandise and activities of Associates in a department(s) of a Wal‑Mart store through modular integrity, perpetual inventory, merchandise management, and customer service, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Wal‑Mart.

What You’ll Do

Assist the Management Team with the supervision of the designated Department, which involves assisting management with mentoring, teaching, assigning duties, recognizing, supervising, and communicating with Hourly Associates appropriately and efficiently.

Order merchandise on time.

Maintain zero pricing errors (i.e., Scanning Credibility Program).

Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
