Canadian History - Assistant Professor, 2-year term

The Department of History and Ancient Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a 2-year Limited Term Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Canadian history beginning July 1, 2026, subject to budgetary approval.

Anticipated Salary Range: $90K to $110K. Actual salary to be commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding scholar with an active and promising research program in the social and cultural history of post-Confederation Canada and a specialization in the history of medicine or the history of science. Preference will be given to scholars who publish in the following areas: the history of disability, the history of health disparities, the history of emotions, or digital humanities.
