Canadian Structured Finance Ratings, Analyst/Senior Analyst – Toronto

Morningstar DBRS is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Canadian Structured Finance Ratings team in Toronto as an Analyst or Senior Analyst. The successful candidate will assist with the analysis and modeling of structured finance transactions across various asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of various asset classes in securitization including residential mortgages and credit cards.
• Perform analysis for structured finance transactions, including analysis of collateral and deal structure.
• Assist in reviewing and maintaining ratings on a portfolio of Canadian securitization transactions.
• Prepare rating committee presentations and present analysis and recommendations to the rating committee.
• Assist with production of timely, high‑quality rating reports, industry studies and commentaries.
