Canning Community Landcare Officer

SERCUL is seeking a highly motivated person with experience in WA urban ecosystem protection and river/wetland/stormwater restoration projects especially linked to community based landcare and/or river based management activities.

The Canning Community Landcare Officer will assist with the implementation of the Canning Local Biodiversity Strategy and continue the community landcare liaison and implementation of on-ground projects associated with the delivery of landcare within the City of Canning area. The officer will be responsible for the maintenance of landcare and river restoration projects at varying stages of development as well as integrating that maintenance with community groups, local schools and volunteers. The officer will also support community environment groups in the City of Canning area.
