CAPACITY MANAGEMENT

We are searching for an experienced CAPACITY MANAGEMENT at our MSC India - Mumbai facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
To monitor the export & Transshipment cargo flow pan India & plan the cargo effectively in order to fully maximize the vessel capacity in TEU / Weight.

Analyse the cargo forecast/projections from various locations to verify the authenticity & correctness of data.

Provide pro-active alert to HQ incase of shortage or excess cargo & expected under/over utilisation of current & future vessels.

Provide alternative measures or suggestions in order to bridge the shortfall or cater the overbooking & effectively utilize the capacity.

Cargo to be optimally cleared on FIFO basis with preference to special cargo (Reefer/DG/OOG/UPC etc.) Cargo dwell time not to cross 7 days barring exceptions such as blank sailing/port omissions/congestion etc.
