Captain of Guards

**Summary**

The Captain of Guards (COG) assists the Project Manager as a central Government point of contact for this contract, and shall assist in the overall management, supervision, and coordination of contract requirements. The Captain of the Guard should possess experience in military and civilian security guard operations and management and should have decision-making authority over contract performance, as well as control authority over contractor personnel performing security guard duties. There will be a minimum of one COG for each site.

**Responsibilities**

+ Leads operations for the armed, uniformed and cleared force. Ensures officers are fit, ready, and able.
+ Acts as liaison between Army officials and the contractor. Direct liaison between the Security Force Officers and the PM. Liaison between Japanese police, ambulance, and fire department forces to ensure joint activities are effective and well-coordinated.
