Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab tech is a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, assisting physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving the cardiovascular and peripheral vascular systems. This role demands expertise in sterile technique, imaging equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient care throughout the procedural continuum. The Cath lab tech will report directly to the Senior Director of Surgical Services and Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cath lab tech will work primarily in the Cath Lab but may be required to float to other areas to assist with procedures as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:


+ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

+ Completion of an accredited program in Radiology Technology, Paramedic, cardiovascular technology or other related field.
