Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Surgery at The University of North Carolina is seeking applications for a board eligible/board certified full-time academic cardiac surgeon to join our Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. This academic appointment is Open Rank and may be fixed term, tenure/tenure track and/or variable track. Rank and track will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is among 9 clinical divisions in the Department of Surgery. The Division currently includes 10 faculty members among three sections: adult cardiac surgery, congenital cardiac surgery, and thoracic surgery.
