Cardiac Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports for duty from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Schedules and gives instructions to patient for all procedures of Heart Station Unit.
• Attends immediately to patient with stat request for ECG, e.g. CODE/URGENT.
• Attends to mobile clinic ECG procedures.
• Checks consent for in patient while for outpatient must secure consent.
• Informs the cardio-resident of the procedure.
• Prepares requisitions for the supplies from the GSR, CSS and Pharmacy.
• Helps monitor all supplies and expenses in the department.
• Forward result to Medical Records and Nursing Units.
• Helps in keeping the unit clean and orderly.
• Arrange linen every morning and drop at the laundry section.
• Participates actively in the various quality activities of the hospital and Ancillary division.
• Performs Treadmill Stress Test procedure.
