Cardiologist with Device Specialty in Nanaimo

Join Island Health’s Department of Cardiology as a full-time Cardiologist specializing in Cardiac Device implantation in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Collaborate with a dedicated team to establish a Heart Health Division.
Island Health is seeking a skilled Cardiologist to work with experienced cardiac internists and intensivists at NRGH. This role includes coverage for the coronary care unit, clinical oversight at the Pacemaker Clinic, and on-call cardiology responsibilities. Additional training in device management will be accessible through the affiliated Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cover coronary care unit and cardiology wards
• Provide on-call cardiology coverage
• Manage the Pacemaker Clinic patients clinically
• Engage in device implantation and oversight
• Collaborate with the electrophysiology team for training
