Job Description

We are looking for a remote Clinical Documentation & Coding Specialist to support a U.S.-based outpatient cardiology practice. In this role, you will work in eClinicalWorks (eCW) to assemble clinical documentation and perform retrospective chart reviews to ensure documentation completeness, appropriate level-of-care selection, and correct use of CPT modifiers.

This is a 3-month pilot program with the potential to become permanent based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and organize outpatient cardiology clinical documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Perform retrospective reviews of existing encounters to assess:
• E/M level-of-care appropriateness
• Correct and compliant use of CPT modifiers
