The Dell Medical School, in conjunction with Ascension Texas, is seeking Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants to be part of the Institute for Cardiovascular Health. These individuals will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to serve the growing need of the regional adult population to deliver world class adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care.PurposeIn close collaboration with supervising physicians, provides for the expansion of individualized healthcare services by diagnosing and treating adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) will primarily staff the ICU but will also cross cover the telemetry ward providing patient-centered, competent, compassionate, and professional care in both out-patient and in-patient settings.
