Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant

Nemours Children's Health, Delaware is hiring a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will perform Physician Assistant duties as defined by the Cardiothoracic Surgeon(s) and work under the supervision of the Cardiothoracic Surgeon in the operating room, office, ambulatory and hospital setting(s) / nursing units. The incumbent will scrub in on cardiac, thoracic, and vascular OR cases as assigned/needed and demonstrate a proactive approach in preparation for each procedure. In addition, the Physician Assistant will function as a first assistant in surgery when assigned by providing adequate assistance, anticipating and showing initiative and surgical skill. The candidate must be able to provide and demonstrate complex surgical skills when assisting in surgery.
