Care Assistant, High Dependency Unit

ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

1.  Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.

2.  Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.

3.  Obtain ward report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.

4.  Daily routine:

• Conducts regular nursing rounds to assess patients' needs and communicate with them and their families.
• Prepares and tidies patients' beds and linens as needed and organizes patients' belongings as well as furniture.
• Disinfects the beds, furniture, and equipment after utilizing them.
• Keeps the ward, store, fridge, and its facilities clean and tidy.
• Assist the patient with Activities of Daily Living
• Answer phone calls and relay messages.
