Caregiver

Ashlea Grove Rest Home is looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting older people, works well in a small team, and can be flexible with shifts.

About the Role:

• 10–20 hours per week (part-time/casual)
• Mix of morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts as needed
• Supporting residents with personal cares, mobility, meals, and daily routines
• Working collaboratively with our experienced clinical and care team
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care in a warm, homely environment
• A caring, patient, and respectful approach
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
