Cargo Person Senior

**Summary:**

Manages the daily operations at USAP Cargo. This position will oversee the packaging, marking, labeling, documenting, and movement of all USAP material from McMurdo Station to outlying field locations, the United States, and other international destinations.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Is responsible for ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace

+ Supervises and leads the USAP Cargo warehouse personnel

+ Trains warehouse personnel in the safe operation of material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts 4,000-15000 lbs. capacities), passenger vans, and pick-up trucks

+ Oversees receiving and delivering of science and technical event cargo

+ Responsible for accurately processing outgoing shipments, ensuring all participants meet packaging, marking, labeling, and documentation requirements
