Carpenter Foreperson

Coquitlam Ridge Constructors part of BA Blacktop Group of Companies is currently seeking a team-oriented, self-motivated and dedicated individual to join our Operations Team as a Carpenter Foreperson .

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Superintendent, successful Carpenter forepersons are trade-qualified, craftspeople with extensive skills and experience in the field of carpentry and bridge-related construction activities who are responsible for overseeing all aspects of carpentry projects.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Scheduling

• Understand and implement the project work plan in order to meet or improve upon the budget and schedule
• Translate the detailed task requirements into a prioritized plan for individual assignments and accountabilities.
• Identify and verify that all tools and materials required by the crew are available in advance of task performance.
