Carpenter

We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Svalbard. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing structures made of wood, steel, or other materials. Your main duties will include reading blueprints and drawings, measuring and cutting materials to fit specifications, and assembling components using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Study blueprints and drawings to determine project requirements
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications
• Assemble structures using hand or power tools
• Install structures on-site or in a workshop setting
• Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as architects and engineers
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed at all times
