Cashier (Jaro)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the accounting of the payments of customers either cash or other acceptable forms. Ensures accuracy of the Cost Remittance Slips (CRS) regarding cost collection and daily sales. Provides excellent customer service at all times.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. CUSTOMER SERVICE

2. Provides excellent customer service at all times.

3. Processes transaction based on the mode of payment by the customer.
4. Acknowledges the customer for the exact payment and counts the amount of change while handling it to the customers' palm.

5. Informs and suggests ongoing promos/events.

6. CASH OPERATIONS

7. Ensures accuracy and authenticity of cash, checks, credit cards and gift checks.

8. Operates the POS with sufficient knowledge in cash operations and company policies.
9. Ensures accuracy of price of merchandise and forms of payment in the POS terminal.
