Job Description
A cashier is a customer-facing role responsible for efficiently processing sales transactions and handling various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments. The position focuses on delivering excellent customer service to create a positive shopping experience. Cashiers ensure accuracy in cash handling, manage returns and exchanges, and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Accurately processing cash and GCASH payments.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and providing assistance.
Cash Management: Balancing the cash register, counting money at the beginning and end of shifts, and preparing reports.
Area Maintenance: Ensuring the checkout counter is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
