Cashier

I. JOB SUMMARY

The Cashier is responsible for ensuring all payments received are accurate at all times and match the daily sales.

II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receiving and collection of various sales transaction.

· Issuance of OR's to clients, charge slips for charged accounts

· Addresses customer questions and complaints.

· Reports complaints and problems to the Operations Head, and refers customers to manager when needed.

· Counts out register drawer at the end of shift.

· Updates admin/finance for status of changed accounts on a weekly basis.

· Trains new cashiers.

· Ensures that all register drawers are balanced at the end of a shift.

· Prepares bank deposit envelopes and reports and stores daily profits in safe manner.
