MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. BILLING AND INVOICING

• Generate timely, accurate, itemized invoices in SeriousMD (SMD) for all services rendered.
• Verify the correctness of charges before presenting invoices to clients.
• Provide estimates and secure client approval for hospitalizations or major procedures.
• Explain billing details and answer client inquiries regarding charges.
• Compute VAT accurately per transaction.

2. PAYMENT COLLECTION

• Accept payments through approved methods and indicate the appropriate mode in the SMD system.
• Ensure settlement of bills before patient release, except for approved payment plans or emergencies.
• Issue BIR-approved Official Receipts (OR) for all payments without exception.
• Record all transactions in SMD on the same day they occur.

3. REFUND PROCESSING
