Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour is one of Australia’s most iconic outdoor dining events, set within the Royal Botanic Gardens with spectacular harbour views. Working across multiple purpose-built kitchens, our team delivers high-volume, premium food service to theatre guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a large, professional brigade for the full Opera season.

About the role

• Based at Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, Royal Botanic Gardens
• Work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure efficient food production and quality control
• Run your own section in a busy event service environment
• Ensure the highest standards of presentation, consistency and food quality
• Tuesday to Sunday evening shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Seasonal casual role: 24 March to 3 May 2026
