The successful candidate

will be required to work with minimal direct supervision in a team environment and maintain collegial working relationships. Staff are required to communicate with school principals, school staff and students to ensure minimal disruption to the learning environment. All employees are required to work safely in accordance with WorkSafe B.C. guidelines. The Grounds Maintenance Department is concerned with the maintenance and construction of all school board facilities from the site buildings to the sidewalks. This includes all lawn and garden areas, sport fields, playgrounds, fencing, underground services and all asphalt areas. This constitutes year round support programs and includes seasonal extremes such as snow and excessive rainfall.
