An exceptional opportunity for a Catastrophe Research Analyst to join a leading Insurance company in Central London.
About the Role
Catastrophe Research Analyst to join the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management team. In this role, you will review catastrophe models licensed by proprietary View of Risk. This includes analysing a variety of global peril regions and staying up to date with the latest scientific research.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing non-modeled perils, back-testing historical event claims, and developing tools and processes in collaboration with the wider team.
The Team
The Catastrophe R&D team consists of analysts with expertise in natural hazards, engineering, catastrophe risk and insurance risk modelling. The team is responsible for creating a view of catastrophe risk and is part of the Corporate Exposure Management function.
