Category Buyer (Sheet Metal)

The role is part of Badr Procurement organization within the International region, based in Egypt, at Badr Plant. The role will manage the relationship between Schneider & the suppliers. Category Buyer will act as the main SPOC of the suppliers under his/her responsibility, leading business continuity, driving strategy, supplier base development and optimisation, and enhancing digital and sustainable with the supplier and their supply chain. This role has the key interface with the plant covering procurement activities and suppliers’ management: Interface with the category manager to collect ETO specifications, specify the qualification criteria and contribute to the segmentation of the strategy Contribute and implement the strategy (SOC) in the cluster perimeter Taking the category strategies into account, you will build & drive the category APOP (Annual Procurement Operational Plan) validated by Global Category & Plant.
