Category lead

The Category Lead will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the Packaging & Beverages category within the BMU Supply Chain Management department. This position will lead a team of regional category managers, ensuring effective implementation of strategies and plans. The scope of this role is extensive, covering the entire BU Africa region and all Yum! brands.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a 3-5 year strategic category plan, focusing on growth, franchisee value, and business objectives.
Ensure consistent improvements in Yum's Recipe For Good strategy outcomes across the region.
Partner with global and regional supply chain teams to align category strategies with broader business needs.
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, positioning Yum as a customer of choice.
