Category Manager

Job Overview:

The Category Manager serves as the commercial owner of assigned product categories and plays a critical role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role is responsible for translating consolidated sales forecasts into effective purchasing, pricing, and brand strategies to drive profitability, inventory efficiency, and sustainable growth. The Category Manager also leads people development within the team to ensure long-term capability building and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial & S&OP Ownership

• Act as the commercial owner of assigned categories within the S&OP process.
• Consolidate and validate sales forecasts in collaboration with Sales Operations.
• Translate demand forecasts into accurate purchasing plans, including volume, timing, and brand mix.
• Ensure alignment between sales demand, inventory levels, and supply capabilities.
