Type: Permanent Part‑time. Hours: 10.5 per week. Rate: £12.71 per hour. Shift pattern: Variable hours over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Location: Russells Hall Hospital, Pensnett Road, Dudley, West Midlands, England, DY12HQ.

Role Overview

This role supports the delivery of a safe, high‑quality patient catering service within a hospital environment. You will assist with meal preparation and service, work closely with ward teams, and ensure patient needs are met with care, dignity, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support patient meal services at ward level, serving meals in correct portions and following dietary, allergen, and Trust procedures.
• Use patient meal‑ordering tablet to record and manage orders accurately.
• Work in cold conditions within the RDU preparation kitchen and assist with meal preparation, plating and distribution.
