Catering Manager

Our client is looking for a Catering Manager to lead a team of kitchen staff at a private school in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.

Key Requirements:

• A Grade 12
• At least 5 (five) years' experience working in a similar position or environment
• Skilled and passionate about food, upmarket functions, baking and preparation of
  food
• Must be able to assist with menu development and function menus
• Understanding of costings, ordering and management of stock
• Delegates and leads a team efficiently, has a good understanding of HR related
  matters
• A clear understanding of the importance of HSE and implementation thereof
• Able to work well under pressure
• Attention to detail – especially when it comes to quality and presentation of meals
• Able to work long hours, weekends, and shift work
• Own vehicle
• Must be computer literate
