CCTV Operator

A CCTV Operator monitors surveillance camera systems in real-time to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and the public. They proactively detect suspicious activity, control camera movements, operate recording equipment, log incidents, and coordinate with security, police, or emergency services, often working in high-pressure, 24/7 control room environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Active Monitoring: Surveil multiple monitors (sometimes 15+ screens) to identify potential security threats, criminal activity, or safety hazards.
• Incident Response: Initiate appropriate responses, including dispatching security personnel, alerting law enforcement, or triggering alarms, while maintaining radio or phone contact.
