• Food Preparation & Cooking: Preparing and cooking a diverse range of Chinese dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and portion size.
• Station Management: Overseeing the Chinese cuisine section of the buffet, including managing ingredients, equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all food handling and sanitation procedures meet company standards and food safety regulations.
• Collaboration: Working with the executive chef, sous chef, and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and service for a high-volume buffet environment.
• Menu Execution: Executing menu items with precision, potentially utilizing various cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, and roasting specific to Chinese cuisine.
