Central Ontario HR Officer - Safety Program Leader

Lead the HR Safety program at Lakehead University in Central Ontario, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Drive training initiatives and support compliance across the campus.
Reporting to the Manager of Health, Safety and Wellness, you will oversee all aspects of the safety program, including training, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance. This position is integral in liaising with governmental agencies and advising staff on safety policies related to chemical handling and fire safety.
Key Responsibilities:
